Cyber Security Internship in Kochi: Labs, Tools and Who Can Apply

Future Optima's cyber security internship in Kochi is open for applications. It is lab-based: you practise assessment and defence on vulnerable lab environments, using the same tools security teams use, with mentors guiding you through each exercise.

What you work on

• Networking and systems foundations — how attacks and defences actually work
• Reconnaissance, scanning and vulnerability assessment in a lab
• Web application security — the OWASP Top 10 and manual testing
• SOC fundamentals — log analysis, threat detection and incident response
• Writing up findings clearly and responsibly

Tools you'll use

Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap, SIEM tools and Metasploit in lab use — all practised on lab systems built for the purpose.

Who can apply

College students, graduates, Plus Two students and students with a year gap. No prior security experience is needed — networking fundamentals come first. Students have described their internship here as practical, mentor-supported training.

Where it leads
