Future Optima Conducts OWASP Top 10 & Cybersecurity Awareness Training for Manappuram Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Future Optima IT Solutions conducted a corporate training session for Manappuram Insurance Brokers Ltd. on October 14, 2026, focused on two areas every organisation needs today: the OWASP Top 10 web application security risks, and cybersecurity awareness for the wider team.

OWASP Top 10 Training

The OWASP Top 10 is the most widely used list of critical web application security risks. The session walked participants through how risks such as broken access control, injection, security misconfiguration and authentication failures work, and the practical steps that prevent them in design, code and configuration.

Cybersecurity Awareness Training

Alongside the technical content, the session covered cybersecurity awareness for the Manappuram Insurance Brokers team — recognising phishing and social engineering, using strong passwords and multi-factor authentication, handling data safely and reporting suspicious activity quickly — because most successful attacks begin with a human mistake.

Hands-On, Interactive Format

Delivered in Future Optima's practical, interactive style, Manappuram Insurance Brokers participants followed along on their laptops as the trainer explained each risk with real examples. The session draws on the same curriculum used in Future Optima's Cybersecurity — Red Team & SOC Analyst course and Web Bug Hunter certification.
